CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY POLICY
This corporate responsibility policy applies to all operations carried out at Celoplás (S.A.). It also defines how internal and external relations are expected between its employees and between them and their customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
The corporate responsibility of Celoplás is based on compliance to fulfil with legal requirements and other values, and on proactivity through initiatives to promote human rights, contribute to society and protect the environment.
With these perspectives in mind, Celoplás undertakes to:
- Comply with and respect the laws; honour its internal policies; ensure that all business operations are legitimate; keep all commercial or collaborative partnerships open and transparent; ensure safe and fair negotiations; develop sustainable business and ideas; respect the customer; comply with anti-bribery and anti-corruption practices, and put the Ten Principles of the United Nations for corporate citizenship into practice;
- Protect the environment by implementing the best environmental practices such as recycling, selective waste collection, water and energy saving, and by encouraging the development and the diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies to reduce the carbon footprint;
- Protect people and respect human rights; guarantee health and safety conditions for its employees and society; develop local partnerships; support diversity and inclusion; ensure gender equality; make sure that its activities do not directly or indirectly violate human rights in any country (e.g.: forced or child labour);
- Help institutions of social solidarity and other social causes whenever possible; support and invest in education programmes;
- Support its Research and Development (R&D), valuing the ideas of its employees in order to improve and maximise the potential of the organisation.
Celoplás develops its activities in accordance with other policies that define its commitment to quality, environment and innovation, as well as a code of conduct for employees, namely through the prevention and combat against harassment and corruption at work. In order to support its employees, Celoplás provides employee handbooks that are aligned with strategic vectors and objectives.
The Corporate Responsibility Policy is internally communicated to its employees. The communication to other stakeholders in the value chain is made on a case-by-case basis.

Being in a highly technical and competitive market, we work diligently to continually improve the technological quality, the quality of products and services, the deliveries and cost to the Customer, with a commitment to:

- Fulfil the obligation to produce safe and legally compliant products, in accordance with specified quality, confirming our responsibility towards our Customers;

- Ensure an adequate planning, execution and control of projects, as well as making a careful provision of resources, observing strict compliance with regulatory, technical and normative requirements applicable to our activity;
- Encourage the creativity and qualification of employees in order to continually promote a culture of accuracy and innovation, and an environment that stimulates knowledge;
- Continuously improve the effectiveness of the Management System, maximizing the available resources and ensuring the assessment and promotion of results.
