Who we are
Celoplás, Plásticos para a Indústria S.A. was founded in 1989 and today has a building area of 11 500m² in a total area of 25 000m². The current team has more than 160 employees, working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, on a production hall with more than 70 injection moulding machines.
Today, Celoplás projects, develops and manufactures more than 200 million of technical and precision components per year, by injection moulding and micro injection moulding, using more than 200 different types of thermoplastics, thermosettings and liquid silicon rubber materials, for automotive, electronics, electrical, optics, construction, medical and other industries.
Along with this activity, Celoplás develops and manufactures precision moulds and micro moulds, for own production, using the most recent machining and micromachining technologies.
Celoplás invests in ongoing training of its human resources, products’ quality, processes and products innovation, enhancing competitiveness and being recognized as a European reference on the development and production of components in high technological clusters, using polymeric materials.

In line with its strategy, Celoplás has been developing a set of actions to promote its growth in the global market, and believes that isolated initiatives will not be enough to remain competitive. Celoplás therefore considers it is critical to continue the initiatives promoted by the company, in particular to the efforts developed under the CELOCOMPETE + project, in order to ensure the success of growth in an adverse economic context as the current one. Thus, CeloDynamics project aims to intensify the international expansion of the company based on a greater capacity to present innovative products and solutions of high quality for high precision markets.
